Changing the Appearance of the Expression Editor

Update the fonts and colours used in the Expression Editor.

Implementation:

  1. Select and click More Options to open the KnowledgeKube Options dialog.
  2. Make sure the Fonts and Colours panel is open.

You can also access this directly through the expression editor by clicking Tools > Options in the toolbar.

  1. Do not change the Show Settings For and Editor Sub-language drop-down menus. These should be set to Expression Editor and ExpressionParser respectively.
  2. Select a Display Item to edit.
  3. Use the options on the right to change the selected item's text and background colours, or set it to appear Bold, Italic, or Underline.
  4. Switch to the Editor tab.
  5. Use the Editor Font and Size drop-down menus to change the text used in the editor.
  6. Choose the editor's background colour using the Editor Background menu.

If you want to choose a colour not available in the menu, click Custom. This opens a colour picker, where you can specify a colour by selecting it or providing its HTML Hex value.

  1. (Optional) Use the Show Line Numbers check box to determine the visibility of line numbers in the editor.
  2. (Optional) Use the remaining fields to determine the appearance of line numbers.
  3. Click Close.
