Creating a Mobile Style Attribute

Create a style attribute by applying mobile styling to model content.

Implementation:

  1. Open the Style Editor for the content you want to modify.
  2. Click to open the Style Attribute dialog.

Alternatively, click the Add button at the bottom of the dialog.

  1. The Definition panel will be displayed when the dialog first opens. Give the attribute a Style Key to identify its purpose. This does not need to be unique.
  2. Use the Trigger Type drop-down menu to define when the style will be applied. This option will only be available when adding styles to a question, since question groups can only use the Load trigger type.
  3. (Update trigger type only) Switch to the Value panel and write the Styling Expression you want to use in the field provided. The style attribute will only be applied when the result of this expression is True.
  4. Switch to the Styling panel to add styles to the attribute.
  5. To check that the attribute's code is formatted correctly, click Validate. If there is an issue an error message will appear to let you know what it is.

KnowledgeKube will attempt to validate your code any time you try to save the attribute.

  1. When the attribute is formatted correctly, click OK to save the attribute and return to the Style Editor dialog.
