Configure a Subscription Key for your configuration. Subscription keys let you manage your configuration if you are publishing it in different places, or if third party consultants have access, they can be given a specific key that can be deleted once they no longer have the need to interact with the data.
Implementation:
- Select and right-click your configuration, in the Cloud Data Source Publishing window.
- Click Access Control.
- Enter a name in the New Subscription Key Alias field.
- Click Create. On creation you will see Generating Subscription Key situated in the Subscription Key column.
This text will disappear after a few minutes, and be replaced with a unique key. Create as many subscription keys as you wish.
- (Optional) Click Refresh to ensure all new keys are displayed.
- To return to the previous window, click Close.
