Permanently remove an existing category from the Service Workbench.
Deleting a category will also delete every service and operation assigned to it, which can have a critical impact across multiple applications in the current repository. As such, this should only be done in extreme cases or if the category contains no services.
Implementation:
- Click
to access the Service Workbench tab. - Select the provider containing the category you want to remove, and then select the category itself.
- Open the Category Options menu and select Delete Category.
- When prompted, click Yes to confirm the deletion.
