Implementing an Expression

Create automated model content by adding expressions to your application.

Implementation:

  1. Switch to the Definition tab.
  2. Create a question with the question type set to one of the available Expression types.
  3. Enter an expression in the Expression to Evaluate field.
  4. Click the Edit Expression button to open the Expression Editor.
  5. Write the expression in the Editing Expression tab.
  6. (Optional) To test the expression or see its result, select the Run This option. This will execute the entire expression and automatically switch to the Output panel

If you only want to test a part of the expression, select the section you want and then click Run This. Doing so will only run the selected part of the expression.

  1. In the Expression Editor use the Output panel to view the expression's result.
  2. Click to save your changes and close the editor.
  3. Click Save Question.
