Creating a Detailed Appointment

Use a special form to specify details about the appointment you want to add to your calendar.

Implementation:

  1. Open the model containing the calendar.
  2. Double-click anywhere in the calendar to open the Create Appointment form.
  3. Specify the Subject of your appointment.
  4. Enter the Location of the appointment.
  5. (Optional) Specify the start date and time of the intended appointment.
  6. (Optional) Specify the end date and time of the intended appointment.
  7. (Optional) Tick the check box if you want the intended appointment to last all day.
  8. (None Repetitive Appointment Only) Optionally, enter additional information about the appointment in the text box provided.
  9. (None Repetitive Appointment Only) Go to step 18.
  10. (Repeat Appointment Only) Tick the Repeat check box if you want the appointment to reoccur.
  11. (Repeat Appointment Only) Use the Repeat drop-down menu to specify how often you want the intended appointment to occur in your calendar. For example, daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or every weekday.
  12. (Repeat Appointment Only) Use the Every options to specify how often on a weekly basis you want the appointment to occur. For example, every 1,2,3 weeks etc.
  13. (Repeat Appointment Only) Use the check boxes to select which days of the week you want the appointment to be displayed in your calendar.
  14. (Repeat Appointment Only) Use the Starts On date picker to specify when you want the appointment to begin repeating.
  15. (Repeat Appointment Only) Use the Ends radio buttons to specify when you want the intended appointment to finish. For example, never, after a certain amount of occurrences, or on a specific date set by you.
  16. Click Done, the appointment will update in real-time, and be displayed in the calendar.
