Creating a Detailed Appointment
Use a special form to specify details about the appointment you want to add to your calendar.
Implementation:
- Open the model containing the calendar.
- Double-click anywhere in the calendar to open the Create Appointment form.
- Specify the Subject of your appointment.
- Enter the Location of the appointment.
- (Optional) Specify the start date and time of the intended appointment.
- (Optional) Specify the end date and time of the intended appointment.
- (Optional) Tick the check box if you want the intended appointment to last all day.
- (None Repetitive Appointment Only) Optionally, enter additional information about the appointment in the text box provided.
- (None Repetitive Appointment Only) Go to step 18.
- (Repeat Appointment Only) Tick the Repeat check box if you want the appointment to reoccur.
- (Repeat Appointment Only) Use the Repeat drop-down menu to specify how often you want the intended appointment to occur in your calendar. For example, daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or every weekday.
- (Repeat Appointment Only) Use the Every options to specify how often on a weekly basis you want the appointment to occur. For example, every 1,2,3 weeks etc.
- (Repeat Appointment Only) Use the check boxes to select which days of the week you want the appointment to be displayed in your calendar.
- (Repeat Appointment Only) Use the Starts On date picker to specify when you want the appointment to begin repeating.
- (Repeat Appointment Only) Use the Ends radio buttons to specify when you want the intended appointment to finish. For example, never, after a certain amount of occurrences, or on a specific date set by you.
- Click Done, the appointment will update in real-time, and be displayed in the calendar.
