Appendix: Workgroup Types

When a workgroup is added it has to be assigned one of four Types, which determines how it can be used to build relationships with other workgroups:

Workgroup Type	Description
Domain	Every KnowledgeKube repository is assigned a single domain workgroup. This is typically the company responsible for implementation and administration of that repository, including the setting up of other workgroups and their constituent users. Once a repository has a domain workgroup, this type cannot be assigned to any others.
Intermediary	Workgroups responsible for mediating between one or more client and provider workgroups.
Provider	Workgroups that deliver KnowledgeKube processes and services.
Client	Workgroups that subscribe to the services delivered by providers and intermediaries.
