Choosing a Default Location for Document Images

Each time you upload a .doc or .docx file to be used as a dynamic KnowledgeKube document, any images it contains will be extracted and individually saved to a default location. You can change this default location as needed.

Changing the default directory is useful if you collaborate with other KnowledgeKube administrators and need to save document images in a globally accessible network location (UNC).

Implementation:

  1. Switch to the Your Models tab.
  2. Select and click More Options to open the KnowledgeKube Options dialog.
  3. Switch to the Documents panel.
  4. Click Browse under the Image Destination heading to open the file browser.
  5. Locate and select the intended folder.
  6. Click OK.

The folder's path will appear in the text field.

  1. Click Close to save the changes.
