Uploading a Shared Image Item

You can upload an image for use with any dynamic document items in the current repository.

Implementation:

  1. Switch to the Definition tab.
  2. Click to open the Manage Documents interface.
  3. Click to open the Shared Document Image Items dialog.
  4. Click Add.

You have the option to specify a default directory for new image items. Doing this will cause the file browser to open with that directory selected by default.

  1. Locate and double-click the PNG or JPEG (not JPG) image you want to upload.
  2. Click Open to return to the previous window. The browser will then close, and an image item will be created using the file name of the chosen image.
  3. (Optional) If you want KnowledgeKube to always use the latest version of the image, select the item in the list and tick the Update Image check box. If you leave this unticked, a cached image will be used each time.
  4. Click Save.
