Creating a Publishing Group

Create a group for published models, add available models to that group, then determine which users can access the specified group.

Implementation:

  1. Click to open the Enterprise Server dialog.
  2. Switch to the Publishing Groups panel.
  3. Click New to open the New Enterprise Server Group window.
  4. Using the Enterprise Group panel, enter a Group Name and Description. These fields are used for reference, so ensure the values you provide are meaningful.
  5. Switch to the Models panel.
  6. Select the Available Models tab to view any models that have not yet been added to the current group.
  7. Select the model you want to add and click Add to Published Group.
  8. (Optional) Add as many available models as you want to the group.
  9. Select the Models in this Group tab to view the models you have just added.
  10. (Optional) To remove models in the group, select the intended model and click Remove From Published Group.
  11. (Optional) Switch to the Users panel to manage the Enterprise Users in the group.
  12. When you have finished configuring the group, click OK to save it.
