Deleting a Column

Permanently delete a column from a Data Designer table.

Changing the structure of an existing table can cause you to lose data and have a negative effect on applications that rely on the data table.

Implementation:

  1. Click the icon in the Activity Bar.
  2. Switch to the Definitions tab.
  3. Right-click the table containing the column and select Edit Table.
  4. Select the column in the Your New Columns list and click Remove.
  5. (Optional) To remove all columns from the table, click Remove All.
  6. Click Update Table to save the changes.
