Editing a Gantt Task

Update the properties of a task in a Gantt chart.

Implementation:

1. Open the model containing the Gantt chart on the front end.
2. (Optional) You can edit some properties of the task directly by clicking and dragging different areas. Dragging the task itself lets you move it to a different date, clicking the edge of the task lets you extend or shorten its duration, and dragging the progress line lets your change the percentage value.
3. Select a task in the chart.
4. Click in the Gantt chart's toolbar. This opens the Task Information dialog for the selected task.
5. Make changes to the task's properties as required. For more information on these settings, refer to Creating a Gantt Task.
6. Click Save.
