Each Multiple Choice and Radio Button Group question can have one of its responses designated as the default. This response will be initially selected each time your question group is loaded.
Implementation:
- Switch to the Definition tab.
- Expand the question that contains the list of responses you want to access.
- Double-click the intended response to open its Properties tab.
- Put a tick in the This Is The Default Response check box.
- Click the response's Save button.
To prevent users from leaving the default response selected, open the question's Properties tab, and tick Do Not Accept Default Response If This Is a Mandatory Question under Further Question Options. Remember to click the Save Question button afterwards.
