Creating a Navigation Group

Add a navigation group to a dynamic navigation definition.

Implementation:

  1. Open the Properties tab for a dynamic Progress Indicator and click Configure.
  2. Switch to the Navigation Groups panel.
  3. Click Add to open the Navigation Group dialog.
  4. Make sure the Enabled checkbox is ticked, which indicates that the navigation group is active.
  5. Enter a Name for the group.
  6. Give the group a unique Keyword, which can be used to call the group in expressions.
  7. (Optional) Enter a Description for the group to make its purpose and contents clear.
  8. (Form Keywords-binding only) If the definition uses the form keyword binding method, use the Question Group/Form Keyword drop-down menu to select a question group. This will mean that the navigation group will be displayed on the selected question group.
  9. (Optional) Tick the Show This Navigation Group On All My Forms checkbox to display the navigation group on all question groups.
  10. Switch to the Group Buttons panel.
  11. Use this panel to Add, Edit, and Remove action buttons in the group.
  12. Click Save to create the navigation group.
