Creating a User

Add a new user account to a repository that lets individuals log in using the associated user name and password. This, in turn, lets them access otherwise-restricted content on the repository.

Every new user account must be added to at least one Workgroup before it can be used to log into a repository.

Implementation:

  1. Select the Security Menu.
  2. Click Users to open the KnowledgeKube Model Users dialog.
  3. Click .

Alternatively, click Add to create a user.

  1. Type the full name of the new user, including spaces, into the User Name field.

Unlike the other values entered during this process, the User Name associated with an account cannot be changed after the account is created.

  1. Type the user's Email Address into the field provided.
  2. Provide a suitable Password.

At this point you can assign one or more Roles to the user if needed.

  1. Click OK.

Users can also be created with the AddWorkgroupUser expression.
