Source Control
Making changes to certain elements of a KnowledgeKube model requires that you first Check Out these elements for editing. Each element can only be checked out by one person at a time, and as long as you have something checked out, nobody else will be able to edit it until you once again Check In the element once more. This process is known as Source Control.
The interface for checking elements in and out varies according to the type of element you are working with. You can learn about how source control affects the various types of KnowledgeKube content by referring to the corresponding topics listed in the following table:
